Operation Storm

Introduction

This section provides information about the case tried before the ICTY concerning the crimes committed in Croatia during the military campaign known as Operation Storm, implemented by Croatian forces in early August 1995. It also contains case information, a collection of archival material and videos produced by the Mechanism Information Programme for Affected Communities (MIP).

The ICTY indicted the following persons for the crimes committed during the Operation Storm:

Operation Storm, a military campaign implemented by Croatian forces in early August 1995, led to the exodus and deaths of Serb civilians from the Krajina region in Croatia, and the burning and destruction of their property.
