After my secondary education in QRC Okoyong Mamfe and post secondary education in CCAST Bambili, I studied Law at the University of Lagos Nigeria, where I obtained a degree (LLB Hons), and the University of London in the Advanced Institute for Legal Studies, where I obtained a Diploma in Legal Drafting and a Certificate in International Law. I obtained the Diploma in Magistracy in ENAM Yaounde.

Advocate General of the Court of Appeal
Vice President of the Court of Appeal
Judge of the High Court
1990 1st Woman to be appointed Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal
2000 Judge of the Supreme Court of Cameroon
Gave some landmark judgments on the rights of women and the girl child on ownership of property and the right to succession in Cameroon.

INTERNATIONAL CAREER

2003 Elected ad litem Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda with rank of Under Secretary General by the General Assembly of the United Nations.
1st Cameroonian to be so-elected
2011 Elected Vice President of the United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda
2011 Elected Judge of the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (“Mechanism”)
2010 Was among the 50 Women who were recognized during the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Cameroons Independence
2003 to 2012 As an International Judge of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (“ICTR”), I participated in numerous judgments and Decisions in saying NO to Impunity
2014 Appointed Director of Judicial Professions, in the Ministry of Justice Cameroon
