Judicial Records Research Tool (JRAD)

Today the Mechanism has launched a new online research tool, the Judicial Records and Archives Database (JRAD), which is aimed at enhancing access to the public judicial records of the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda (ICTR) and the Mechanism.

With multiple search options designed to suit different research requirements, the tool offers access to over 25,000 textual, photographic and audio-visual records, including transcripts and audio recordings of judicial proceedings, as well as filings and exhibits related to the cases of the ICTR and Mechanism.

Records continue to be uploaded on a regular basis, and users may submit a request for access to records not immediately available through JRAD.

The judicial records of the ICTY remain accessible via the public interface of the ICTY’s judicial records database.
